| The Best of the Fuel Savers - Field Tested Proven Effective |
|
 |
I drive a 2007 Ford Fusion 100 miles round trip to work every day. Since it is mostly expressway driving I expected to get very good gas mileage. For the first 37000 miles I found that the best I could get on a full tank was 3 days worth of commuting. I was offered the opportunity to test Cermet Labs ceramic engine conditioner which claimed to improve my gas mileage. After approximately 200 miles on a fresh oil and filter change, the conditioner was added to the engine crankcase according to the instructions. The conditioner takes about 2000 miles to be effective and completely installed in the engine. My mileage before the test was 26.8 mpg. My mileage is now averaging just over 30 mpg and I can commute 4 days before filling up. |

A 1996 Buick Park Avenue, 3.8 liter V-6 rated new at 17/27 miles per gallon. With over 221,000 miles and treated with Cermet, on the last fill up averaged 24.6 miles per gallon. That was a combination of City and Highway driving. |

Mustang Racing Technologies tested Cenmet in one of their 5.0L/302 Mustangs with 103,070 miles on it. They experienced a reduction in fuel consumption of 12%. A dynamometer test reveled an increase in horsepower of 7%. They also found that 3 weak cylinders had a leak down improvement of 28%. An overall leak down improvement of 18% in the in the remaining cylinders. |

DeWitt Township Police Chief Brian Russell treated his Police cruiser, a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria with Cermet. This car had 80,000 miles on it and was getting about 16 mpg. After the treatment the mileage jumped to 18 mpg and at times over 20 mpg. He has since treated all the cruisers in the fleet and his own personal vehicles. He plans to treat all new cruisers purchased by the Township with Cermet. |

I am sure that over the years you have heard a lot of claims for various fuel savers and fuel saving devices. If you are like most of us you look at the technology and ask yourself, do I believe in the concept. Does the technology behind the claims sound reasonable? The product and technology presented in this site takes a little study to understand. It involves a new field of science and engineering called Nano-Technologies. You may know something about this science already and can appreciate how revolutionary it is. If not take a few minutes and you will learn something about how nano-particles can work for you in the area of fuel savers. |

Once the Cermet Ceramic nano particles have been fully activated through out your engine it changes the physical properties of the friction zones. This reduction in friction produces better fuel economy and longer engine life. The new surface is extremely wear resistant. That is why this treatment is one of the best fuel savers on the market. |

"Big fuel gains can come from slippery field of friction" April 2008 |
The topic of friction and how it effects fuel economy was discussed at the April SAE World Conference. Automotive executives as well as officials from the DOE, Department of Energy, realize the overall fuel savings that could be archived by reducing engine friction. There is the potential to save 100 million barrels of oil per year. |
